Since arising from the ashes of the mighty Kyuss, heavy-groove rock monsters Queens Of The Stone Age (QOTSA) have blazed a trail of sonic destruction and delivered some of the most beloved alt-rock albums of the past few decades.
Following the release of their 2017 album Villains, Josh Homme and cohorts had been keeping a relatively low profile. But 2023 saw them re-emerge with an epic statement of sonic intent in the form of their eighth studio album, In Times New Roman.
The self produced record had somewhat of a long gestation period and has been lauded as one of their finest – dripping with gnarly grooves and signifying somewhat of a return to their rawer, pre Era Vulgaris material. The album hit top spot on the Australian charts upon its release. AND the band have just announced an epic Aussie tour in the new year, where plenty of the new Times New Roman belters are sure to be unveiled live and loud.
At Beatniks we have it available in all of its multi-variant glory. And as is often the case with new QOTSA releases, they sure know how to look after their indie record store fans, with the album coming with an exclusive ‘Queens’ themed cardboard carry bag.
So if you’re a fan of the band and have yet to snap it up, be sure to visit us in-store or on the website, where we have just a few copies left in the following 2LP editions:
